The first cricket match was played at Lords in 1814, so we were inspired to share this photograph of the Sunnyside Cricket Team. They played a team of Town Councillors and War Memorial Estate people (some of the people kneeling down) as part of the celebration for the opening of their new pavillion at East Court on 11th September 1973 - from East Grinstead Museum Facebook Page
